Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about ordering bronze horse sculptures from China

What is silica sol casting and why is it better?

Silica sol casting is an advanced lost-wax casting process that uses colloidal silica instead of water glass. This results in superior surface quality, exceptional detail restoration, minimal surface defects, and smoother finishes. For bronze horse sculptures, this means clearer muscle definition, refined mane texture, and better overall artistic quality. It's the preferred method for high-end sculptures destined for estates, castles, and premium properties.

Can I customize the size, color, and design?

Absolutely. We offer full customization including size (from tabletop to monumental), patina color (traditional bronze, green, brown, black, or custom), pose and movement, horse breed characteristics, base style, and structural modifications. You can choose from our 500+ existing models or commission a completely original design based on your photos, drawings, or specific requirements.

How long does production and shipping take?

Production typically takes 30-45 days for existing models and 45-60 days for custom designs, depending on size and complexity. International shipping via sea freight takes 25-40 days to Europe/USA, or 3-7 days via air freight for urgent projects. We provide detailed timelines during quotation and keep you updated throughout the process with photos and videos at key milestones.

What about quality control and approval before shipping?

Every sculpture undergoes rigorous inspection at multiple stages: clay model approval, casting quality check, welding and chasing review, patina finish verification, and final inspection. Before shipping, we send you detailed photos and videos from all angles for your approval. We only ship after you confirm complete satisfaction with the finished sculpture. This ensures you receive exactly what you expect.

How is the sculpture packed for international shipping?

We use professional export-grade packing: soft foam protection for all surfaces, reinforced wooden crates with internal bracing, moisture-proof wrapping, shock-absorbing materials, and secure fastening. Large sculptures may be partially disassembled for safe transport with detailed reassembly instructions. Our packing methods have been proven through thousands of successful international shipments to Europe, USA, Australia, and Canada.

What are the payment terms and methods?

Standard terms are 40% deposit to begin production and 60% balance before shipping (after your final approval). We accept bank wire transfer (T/T), PayPal for smaller orders, and can discuss other secure payment methods. For long-term clients or large projects, we can negotiate flexible payment arrangements. All transactions are documented with formal contracts and invoices.

Do you provide installation guidance and after-sales support?

Yes. We provide detailed installation instructions, foundation requirements, and assembly guidance with every sculpture. For complex installations, we can offer video support or recommend experienced local installers. We also provide maintenance guidelines for long-term care. Our after-sales support continues well after delivery--we're committed to ensuring your sculpture looks magnificent for generations.

Will the bronze sculpture withstand outdoor weather conditions?

Bronze is one of the most durable materials for outdoor sculpture, lasting centuries when properly crafted. Our sculptures use high-quality bronze alloy, structural reinforcement for stability, weather-resistant patina finishes, and protective wax coating. They withstand rain, snow, sun, and temperature extremes. The natural patina may evolve beautifully over time, adding character, or can be maintained with periodic waxing to preserve the original appearance.
